3 years ♥

Hey , something a little bit different today. I have been with Craig for 3 years today :)
Our cake , chocolate of course . Yum :)
This is the gorgeous me to you jewellery tree Craig got me , acessorised with a small selection of Primark rings. He also got me this balloon , which is so pretty and really funky. I also got a card with a beautiful message in.
And this is what I got Craig , the A team on dvd and a little I ♥ you chocolate bar.
They had some really nice stuff in Tesco for Valentines Day , but I didn't want to get too much like that because I want to save that for Valentines day. Which is the frustrating thing about our anniversary( I know were not married but we still call it that and like to mark the date) is that it is so close to Valentines day. We like to make more of a deal of valentines day, seen loads of stuff I want to get.

Weekly wish list ♥

Hey , These are the things I'm lusting after this week. A Wish list post is one of the things that I want to make a weekly feature on my blog. I'm going to try and do it on a Monday or Tuesday each week. This week is not a huge list , because I'm just back at Uni and sorting out my ebay and Amazon orders. So I haven't had much time to browse the web to look at things I shouldn't be. The first things is a kindle off Amazon:
To be honest , I haven't researched the kindle much so I don't know enough about it as of yet to justify buying it especially at £152. But I like the idea of being able to have hundreds of books on a hand held device. Also after a quick browse on the Amazon website , there are lots of free books and the paid ones aren't too expensive. Definitely not as expensive as buying books , although after I've read a book I tend to sell it on Amazon so I'm not sure if I'd be better or worse off. Another thing is that I love to read in the bath and wouldn't feel comfortable taking this in the bath. The next thing I'm lusting after is this River Island bag:
This is the perfect spring bag , and it also happens to perfectly match a pair of shoes I bought in New Look last week.
In fact the more I look at them together , the more I want to bag the bag :( I am so tempted to buy them right now. But I am starting my driving lessons tomorrow and I'm paying for a block of ten so really can't justify buying a bag.  So that's it for this week just two things , good for me I think.

NOTD ♥

Hey , Todays post is a nail of the day post , again another first for me getting into this blogging lark now :)
I mentioned on another recent post that I wanted to try some Eyeko nail varnishes so I bought a set of 4 off Ebay. I paid £6 for all four including p&p so I was quite pleased considering they are sold for £4 each on Eyeko's website. Here they are:
From left to right:
Petite Polish
Tea Party Polish
Coral Polish
Nude Polish

My favourites were coral and nude. I have never used a nude shade nail varnish before , so I was really excited to finish uni and get home to try it. I usually stick to pinks and reds so it's nice to try something different:
To be honest I'm not sure at the moment, firstly it took two coats. Also it takes ages to dry fully , so I had to do about three nails again because I smudged them. So I had to add a top coat to try to stop them smudging.
I do like the way they look , but I'm so used to pinks and reds that it's taking a while to get used to a nude colour like I keep thinking I have forgotten to paint my nails. My next NOTD will more than likely be the coral as I'm quite excited to try that too. But for the moment the jury is still out on the nude...

OOTD: Lace&Pearls ♥

Hey , haven't blogged much recently because of exams at uni and it's my first day back tommorow , looking foward to having some routine back in my life and not watching daytime TV.  And without revision I can do some blogging in the evenings hopefully :) Right this is my first OOTD post , although it is strictly a bit of a cheat as it is my outfit from last night. This is the outfit that I spent weeks agonising about. So here it is:
A classy in club toilets photo , but in my defence I forgot to take a decent photo before I left and wanted one before I looked a bit worse for wear. Theme is definately pearls and lace with red nails to add a splash of colour. I would've loved red lips too , but they're really not me.
Dress- Asos £45
Ring and Earrings - Primark
Flower hair clip-Peacocks
Bag - £24.99 River Island
I liked the way the stud detailing on the outfit just to add a bit of an edge to a pretty girly outfit.
Shoes - £15 in Select but they were on buy 1 pair get 1 half price , so I bought these and another pair of nude heels for just £22. I didn't think the lace dress and shoes combo would work at all but it really did. These shoes were the most comfortable AND highest heels i've ever owned. I couldn't believe how comfortable they were, I was fully expecting serious blisters and toe cramps. I kept them on all night and my feet weren't aching at all today. A pair of bargain killer heels that don't hurt  , miracles do happen ladies !

My handbag...

Hey , So recently I've got really into watching Youtube videos expecially What's in my bag ones , but there's no way I'd record myself and put it on youtube  so I'm going to do mine in a blog post instead. This is what's in my bag on a day when I don't have uni when there would be my pencil case , paper and books in there or no work when there would be my lunch and uniform in there. So it does look a bit bare for such a big bag , but usually it's not.
Right firstly this is my handbag ,  it's my pride and joy at the moment. I had it off the OH ( boy got some good taste lol) for Xmas and it's my fourth PB bag :
I love it , I've always loved a Paul's boutique bags and purses ( not fussed on their clothes really) and this is nice and big , I love a big bag.
Right firstly is some New Look vouchers I got handed in town yesterday , I don't think I will end up using them though as I think I would get more off just using the student discount. There only one available online is if you spend £60 or more you get £15 off , so feel free to use this the code which is STQUE15. This is my cupcake diary , which I love, again I need a big diary because last year I ended up filling my smaller diary up so much that I missed deadlines because I couldn't see it written in around all the other stuff , not good !! And then there's my keys , it's got my house key and fob on , a children in need blush bear , Tesco clubcard , pretty bow keyring and mini bourjois lipgloss.
Right I also have my Blackberry ♥ and iPod touch in my bag. And this is my purse which is again Paul's Boutique and another Xmas present. I do tend to change my purses about every week  but the novelty of this once hasn't worn off yet so I'm still using it. But when I get bored no doubt I'll change it to my other PB purse (pale pink) ,black and white Chanel one or River island tan one. Which are all long purses , I have too many cards to squash into a small purse and I like being able to keep my notes straight and where I can see them. The zip compartment is better on a longer purse too because it's easier to see and find your coins in a shop or on the bus.
These are the last things in my bag: hand sanitiser ( i get a bit OCD about clean hands). My pen and blog notebook , to write down any ideas I have when I'm out and about for new blog posts , like wish lists etc. And lastly is what I call my bits and bobs bags , I keep all the little things in here that I don't want rattling around at the bottom of my bag. Such as: plasters , blister plasters , body spray , mini brush , mirror, Nivea lip therapy , Disney princes tissues and some Nurofen.
That's all that's in my bag :)

As you may have seen there is a little bit of a cupcake theme going on , this continues into my make-up storage which you will seen in my upcoming post about how I store my make-up.

Primarks SS11 collection ♥

Hey , After starting to think about my spring/summer wardrobe I was browsing the web for inspiration and came across Primark's campaign shots for their spring/summer collection and now I'm VERY excited for spring and my spring wardrobe. I know some people aren't fussed on Primark for different reasons but I love it, mainly because of the price and no the clothes don't last long but neither does fashion and neither does my taste so it's perfect for me. There's quite a variety of different trends in this collection and definitely something for everyone. I think fashion wise this is one of the best collections Primark has come up with and still very reasonably priced. There's quite a few retro/vintage style summer dresses , nautical wear is back and a bit of 70's in there too with some flared trousers. Here are some of my favourite pieces:
In store now: £6
I love this bag , and think it will look amzing with a retro summer dress and big floppy sun hat for a really 50's inspired outfit.
Top , In store end Feb:£8
I really love off the shoulder top and love the lace detail on this as well, it's a bit too see through for me so i'd layer a white vest underneath. There's definitely hints of hippy chick in the collection with the daisys in the models hair. This headband is in store now and is £2.
Dress, £15, due in store March, wedges, £12, due in store Feb and satchel, £7, due in store March
There is nothing I don't like about this outfit . The dress is something that would look out of place in Topshop at more than twice that price. The colour , shape and material is amazing. But my favourite thing from the whole collection is the wedges. I love wedges in general but these are amazing  and are due in store in Feb , can't wait!
In store now: £17
I love the shape of this jacket and its perfect to layer over dresses in the spring, for work or more formal ocassions . When I first saw it , it reminded me of someone who works blazers really well:
Kate Cassidy as Gossip Girl's Juliet rocks blazers and shows just how glamorous yet smart blazers can look. This one in partiuclar looks really similar to the primark one , except I bet it isn't just £17. She works all different types of blazer:

And lastly some of primarks nautical pieces:

jumper £10, due in store ,shorts, £6, due in store mid Feb wedges, £14, due in store end Feb, holdall £6, due in store mid Feb
Again wedges ♥ slightly obsessed I think. I love the bag , because Im a fan of big bags particuarly for uni files and books and its just £6.
That's all for now , take a look at the collection for yourself because theres loads more :

Avon Nail Varnish ♥

Hey everyone , todays post is one of my favourite beauty things , Nail Varnish . I love painting my nails and always have painted nails.I have loads of nail varnishes. My favourite nail varnish is Barry M , but seeing as I own all the colours I like I was getting bored of not being able to buy new nail varnishes so I decided to give avon nail varnish a go after looking at them in the catalogue and ordered four:

Firstly excuse my nails , Im a recovering nail biter and Im still trying to get my nails back into good condition don't judge me lol.
The first nail varnish is called viva pink and is the best hot pink shade I've ever had, really gorgeous shade.
Second one is called romance and is a gorgeous pink with a hint of a shimmer  but is still quite subtle.
Third is grey cement and is a matte shade , not 100% fussed on grey as a matte other colours look good in a matte but grey just looks like you have literally dipped your finger in cement. Grey is definately a colour that need a bit of gloss.
Lastly is vintage blue and is my favourite of the four I was a bit dubious when I ordered it as I thought because it's so light its not going to show up well without loads of coats. But it came up as bright as that with just one coat. Really nice shade for spring I think.

Generally all the nail varnishes are really good , in the picture I have only applied one layer of all the colours and they come up good with just one coat so saves time when painting your nails. Also they don't chip nearly as much as the Barry M ones do.  And at just £3 a bottle , they are well worth it. may look into getting some more with my next avon order.

I have also recently heard about eyeko nail and models own nail varnish so Im in the process of buying some online which im looking foward to trying and adding to my ever growing collection of nail varnishes
